As someone who depends on glasses, I can only imagine what it would be like to not be able to see.
That's why I want to tell you about an amazing organization called Respectacle.
We've been helping them not only grow but share truly inspirational stories with others.
Now it's our turn to share their story.
Respectacle is helping people see all over the world, and the best part?
It's free.
Respectacle is a nonprofit that takes used glasses and provides them to the underserved.
Most users have annual incomes below the poverty line.
So far, they've distributed over 40,000 pairs of glasses worldwide.
People who have seen an eye doctor and have their prescription can go to Respectacle.org and get a match, or very close to it, of a pair of used glasses that are then packaged up and shipped out.
And that's where we need your help.
For just twenty-five dollars, you could help up to 10 people receive their glasses.
The founder, Dr. Jeffrey Lynch, takes the money and uses it for the shipping.
